The problem

You're not bad at email. You're human.

Even the most organized people forget to follow up, miss a deadline, or let a lead go cold. That's biology, not a flaw. MailBrief reads your inbox twice a day and surfaces what slipped — so being human stops costing you business.

Your inbox

Money slips through the cracks

A customer waits on your reply, a vendor sits unanswered, you forget to follow up on a hot lead. Every miss bleeds revenue and kills the repeat business that was supposed to come next.

Your workflow

Tomorrow's pile won't remember last week's

Every morning is a fresh stack of unread emails. Worse — by then you've already forgotten the customer who emailed Tuesday, the quote you owed someone Thursday. MailBrief keeps the running list so nothing fades.

How we help

Everything you need. Nothing you have to configure.

Five minutes to your first brief. Simply connect your email and MailBrief figures out your business from there.

The inbox briefing

A clear picture of what's in your inbox today — what's urgent, what's pending, what needs a reply, and who's been waiting on you. Always sorted, always up to date.

Six clear categories

Every email gets one label: urgent, needs reply, follow-up needed, platform actions, on your radar, or spam. No more guessing what matters.

On your schedule

Pick your morning hour, your afternoon hour, your active days, and your lookback window. Pause anytime. The brief runs when you want it — never when you don’t.

Personalized to your business

During onboarding MailBrief studies your sent mail to learn your industry, your key contacts, and your common email types. The brief gets sharper the longer you use it.

How it works

Three steps. Two minutes. Then it just works.

No forms to fill out, no contacts to import, no templates to configure. MailBrief figures out your business from your email.

  1. Step 1

    Connect your email

Sign in with Gmail or Outlook. MailBrief securely reads your recent sent mail to understand your business, your contacts, and how you write.

  2. Step 2

    Review your profile

MailBrief builds a snapshot — your industry, key contacts, writing style, common email types. You confirm what's right and correct what's not.

  3. Step 3

    Get your first brief

Every morning (and again in the afternoon) you get a prioritized summary: what's urgent, what needs a reply, who's been waiting too long.

FAQ

Questions you probably have.

How MailBrief works, what it sees, and what stays under your control.

  • No. The connection is read-only. MailBrief can read your messages to build the brief, but it cannot delete, move, archive, label, or edit anything in your inbox.
  • No one. Your email is read by the AI to generate your brief, then discarded. We don't store the body of your messages, and no one at MailBrief browses your inbox.
  • No. MailBrief fetches your recent email at brief time, uses it to generate the brief, and discards the raw content. The body of your messages is never kept on our servers.
  • Never. Your email is not used to train any AI model. MailBrief uses Zero-Data-Retention AI endpoints, so the content sent for processing isn't stored by the model provider either.
  • The brief is a short, organized summary of your inbox, emailed to you twice a day. Instead of scrolling through everything, you get one read: what's urgent, who's waiting on you, what needs a reply, and what you can safely ignore.
  • It reads the whole picture — who sent it, your history with them, deadlines and dollar amounts mentioned, how you've handled similar email before — then ranks accordingly. Onboarding teaches it your contacts and patterns so this fits your business.
  • Yes. Set your morning hour, your afternoon hour, which days of the week the brief runs, and how far back it looks — all from your dashboard, changeable anytime.
  • During onboarding it reviews your recent sent mail to learn your industry, your key contacts, and the kinds of email you deal with. That context makes your brief sharper from day one.
  • Not yet — MailBrief supports one connected inbox per account today. Multi-inbox support is on the roadmap.
  • The brief is meant to be your main daily read. You'll still open your inbox when you want to act on something — but you stop scrolling it just to find out what's there.
  • Yes — 7 days free, with the full product during the trial.
  • If you haven't cancelled, your subscription begins at $12/month. If you cancel any time during the 7 days, the trial simply ends and you pay nothing.
  • Yes. Cancel from your dashboard whenever you want — no phone call, no retention runaround. You keep access through the period you've already paid for.
  • Anyone who lives in their inbox for work — founders, operators, freelancers, managers, sales reps. If email eats your day, MailBrief is built for you.
  • Yes — pause anytime from your dashboard and turn briefs back on whenever you like; pausing doesn't cancel your account. If you disconnect your inbox entirely, your account stays active and briefs simply stop until you reconnect.
